I still live in hope that it will be more than "The Three Amigos" who participate on this quiz and previously used routes will not be known to new contestants. Failing that, shall we think of the matter as being one of revision from those long distant days of our schoolhood..:cry:

Please note that the full length of the Lancashire Union Railway is not being traversed on this leg, which is only being used as a part-leg link between two other railways, as you will see from the next leg that is shown in the preamble. Had we traversed the full line from Blackburn, we would be passing through the St Helens area on our way to the docks at Garston.
