A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
Chapel en le Frith (Central)

General Information.....
It was only as a result of researching the line from New Mills Central to the Midland Railway station at Chapel-en-le-Frith that I discovered there is a station at Buxworth that is in-between these two stations.

To follow on your entry, I will now post...

I had a ride on Peak Rail the other week.
What a pity this beautiful line through the Peak District was closed.

Indeed yes- once Bugsworth and still called so by the OS quite a while after the name change. Easy enough to find when you know it's there but not starting from scratch.

Since this was built by the heritage railway, rather than by a railway company as we would normally recognise on this quiz, I always have my doubts of allowing such a station to be used.

Borrowash

I had my doubts too.

Derby Nottingham Road though?

But didn't we go through Nottingham Road on the run into Derby? Or didn't it count?

Gaps in the route always confuse me.

That is definitely one up to you...Derby Nottingham Road indeed comes before both the open station of Spondon and the closed station of Borrowash.

We now have solved the queries of both Buxworth (Bugsworth) and of Derby Manchester Road on this journey.
