A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
We now move to the North-East for the next journey....We will now have a few quizzes with CLOSED stations to commence and finish journeys

This quiz is number 72 so far.

The journey starts at the CLOSED station of Loftus
It follows the line of the Whitby, Redcar and Middlesbrough Union Railway
It then follows the line of the Scarborough and Whitby Railway
It then follows the line of the York to Scarborough line
It then follows the line of the York and North Midland Railway
It then follows the line of the Birmingham and Derby Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Birmingham to Peterborough line
The journey ends at the CLOSED station of Walton

The first closed station on this journey is Loftus
