Location
A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
The original station site of Upwey was allowed in the past, as it was stated to have been on a different site.

Since Radipole Halt has also now been named, this indeed was the final closed station on that last journey.

We move to northern England for the next journey.....

This quiz is number 62 so far.

The journey starts at the open station of Liverpool Lime Street
It follows the line of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway (NOTE : Both the Barton Moss stations are to be allowed, being on different sites)
It then follows the line of the Manchester to Huddersfield railway (NOTE : Via the Micklehurst Loop)
It then follows the line of the Huddersfield to Leeds line.
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Bradford Railway.
It then follows the line of the Leeds to Morecambe line.
It then follows the line of the Little North-Western Railway.
It then follows the line of the Lancaster and Preston Junction Railway.
It then follows the line of the West Lancashire Railway
The journey ends at the open station of Southport

The first closed station on the journey is Huyton Quarry

I'm assuming you have included both sites in your Parkside posting, so I make the next to be:-

Staley & Millbrook

PS I managed just one trip over the Micklehurst loop before it closed to passenger trains.
