Once again, well done to everyone

Let us try one in the direction heading south-west....
This quiz is number 58 so far....
The journey starts at the open station of Cheltenham Spa
It follows the line of the Midland and South Western Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Reading to Taunton line
It then follows the line of the Devon and Somerset Railway
It then follows the line of the North Devon and Cornwall Junction Light Railway
It then follows the line of the North Cornwall Railway
It then follows the line of the Launceston and Plymouth line
It then follows the line of the GWR Plymouth to Penzance line
It then follows the line of the Truro and Newquay Railway
The journey ends at the open station of Newquay
The first closed station on this journey is Leckhampton
This station had three namings in its life:-
1881-1906...Leckhampton
1906-1952...Cheltenham South and Leckhampton
1952-1962...Cheltenham Leckhampton

The original name still retains its validity as this is what it was known for the first twenty-five years of it's existance. There was a similar discussion in the past on the line that has Rawmarsh on, when it was decided that as long as the name given was an actual name carried by the station at some period in its life, this is acceptable.

As ever, I am grateful to you. You will note now that under the name of Leckhampton in the preamble to this leg as being the first closed station on this journey, it now shows the actual dates when all three station names were carried at that particular station....

Indeed, the next station was renamed in 1924. It was just known as Cirencester when it opened on 18th December 1883 but it was renamed later as Cirencester Watermoor on 1st July 1924 and it retained that name until it closed on 11th September 1961. So it was under its first name for 41 years and its second name for 37 years. Therefore, I will change tack, as either name will suffice, and plump for the more exotic of the two names.....

I had a feeling that naming Savernake Low Level would cause some problems for the naming of the station that followed it...
Remember that on this leg that we are heading towards the Devon and Somerset Railway, which is the following line...
Wootton Rivers Halt....This is on the way via Pewsey

No problem as such - I goofed in reading the map. Too busy wondering if Savernake High level then foot transfer to Low level would have been as acceptable a move and deciding not

From the answer that you originally gave, with both the high and low level stations being involved, I immediately had followed your reasoning, which was very good in its own right.
