A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
We next move to Wales for the next journey.....

This is number 2024 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Llanfihangel
It follows the line of the Aberystwyth and Welsh Coast Railway
It then follows the line of the GWR Barmouth to Ruabon Line...via Arthog
It then follows the line of the Denbigh, Ruthin and Corwen Railway...via Corwen (original station)
It then follows the line of the Vale of Clwyd Railway...via Trenant
It then follows the line of the Chester and Holyhead Railway...via Prestatyn (1st station)
It then follows the line of the Chester and Crewe Railway...via Waverton (2nd station)...note ist and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Grand Junction Railway...via Basford
It then follows the line of the Stafford and Uttoxter Railway...via Stafford Common
It then follows the line of the NSR&LNWR Ashbourne Line...via Rocester
The journey ends at the closed station of Higher Buxton

The first closed station on this journey is Llanfihangel
