We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 2023 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Sheepbridge
It follows the line of the Midland Railway "New Main Line"
It then follows the line of the Sheffield and Rotherham Railway...via Attercliffe Road
It then follows the line of the North Midland Railway...via Rotherham Masborough
It then follows the line of the MR Barrow Hill to Pleasley West Line...via Staveley Town
It then follows the line of the MR Pleasley West Branch Line...via Pleasley West...via Tevershall Manor
It then follows the line of the MR Erewash Valley Line...via Westhouses and Blackwell
It then follows the line of the MR Shipley Gate to Ripley Line...via Heanor
It then follows the line of the MR Ripley Branch Line...via Ripley
It then follows the line of the Manchester, Buxton, Matlock and Midland Junction Railway...via Duffield (1st station)...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the MR "Disley cut-off" Line...via Buxworth
It then follows the line of the Stockport, Timperley and Altrincham Junction Railway...via Cheadle North
It then follows the line of the CLC Skelton Junction to Glazebrook East Junction Line...via West Timperley
It then follows the line of the CLC Manchester to Liverpool Line...link line only, no closed stations
It then follows the line of the Wigan Junction Railways...via Newchurch Halt
It then follows the line of the Lancashire Union Railway...via Amberswood...via the Whelley loop line
It then follows the line of the Blackburn and Preston Railway...via Hoghton Tower...via Todd Lane Junction
It then follows the line of the Preston and Longridge Railway...via Maudland Bridge
The journey ends at the closed station of Longridge

The first closed station on this journey is Sheepbridge
