I have only just returned home after setting off after breakfast for more of "investigations into my medical state".

Bear with me whilst I find a suitable journey to launch. (At least this time, I was given a cooked mid-day meal that the in-patients were having, with apple crumble and custard to follow).

We next move to Wales for the next journey.....

This is number 2012 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Overton-on-Dee
It follows the line of the Wrexham and Ellesmere Railway
It then follows the line of the GWR Legacy Branch Line...via Rhostyllen
It then follows the line of the GWR Ponkey Branch Line...via Fennant Road Halt
It then follows the line of the GWR Chester to Shrewsbury Line...via Rhosymedre Halt
It then follows the line of the GWR Severn Valley Railway...via Berrington
It then follows the line of the Worcester and Hereford Railway...via Henwick
It then follows the line of the Ledbury and Gloucester Railway...via Ledbury Town Halt
It then follows the line of the Bristol and Gloucester Railway...via Haresfield
It then follows the line of the GWR Thornbury Branch Line...via Iron Acton
The journey ends at the closed station of Thornbury

The first closed station on this journey is Overton-on-Dee
