We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 1998 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Lincoln St Marks
It follows the line of the GCR Lincoln to Market Rasen Line
It then follows the line of the GCR Market Rasen to Barnetby Line...via Claxby and Usselby
It then follows the line of the GG&SJR Brigg Branch Line...via Scawby
It then follows the line of the GN&GEJR Gainsborough to Doncaster Line...via Beckingham
It then follows the line of the Axholme Joint Railway...via Haxey Junction
It then follows the line of the NER Goole to Selby Line...via Airmyn and Rawcliffe
It then follows the line of the NER Selby to Driffield Line...via Cliff Common
It then follows the line of the Malton and Driffield Junction Railway...via Garton
The journey ends at the closed station of Settrington

The first closed station on this journey is Lincoln St Marks

Not so, as that was a station on the Sheffield and Lincolnshire Junction Railway, which we do not visit on this journey.

After leaving Blyton, we passed through the open station of Gainsborough Central, where we took the next line on this journey...the GN&GEJR Gainsborough to Doncaster Line (as per the journey preamble).
