We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 1978 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Hamilton

It then follows the line of the NBR Coatbridge Branch Line...via Parkhead North
It then follows the line of the City of Glasgow Union Railway...via Gorbals
It then follows the line of the Glasgow, Paisley, Kilmarnock and Ayr Railway...via Hurlford
It then follows the line of the GKP&A Muirkirk Branch Line...via Commondyke
It then follows the line of the CR Muirkirk Branch Line...via Muirkirk (2nd station)
It then follows the line of the CR Douglas Branch Line ...via Happendon
It then follows the line of the CR Dolphinton Branch Line...via Bankhead
It then follows the line of the Leadburn, Linton and Dolphinton Railway...via Dolphinton (LL&DR)
It then follows the line of the Peebles Railway...via Leadburn
It then follows the line of the Edinburgh and Dalkeith Railway...via Eskbank and Dalkeith
It then follows the line of the Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway...link line only, no closed stations
It then follows the line of the NBR Corstorphine Branch Line...via Balgreen Halt
The journey ends at the closed station of Corstorphine

The first closed station on this journey is Hamilton
