We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 1967 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Holcombe Brook
It follows the line of the Bury and Tottington District Railway
It then follows the line of the LYR Bury to Rawtenstall Line...via Stubbins
It then follows the line of the ELR Rawtenstall to Bacup Line...via Clough Fold
It then follows the line of the LYR Bacup to Rochdale Line...via Britannia
It then follows the line of the Manchester and Leeds Railway...via Rochdale (1st station)
It then follows the line of the Manchester and Bolton Railway...via Oldfield Road
It then follows the line of the Bolton and Preston Railway...via Lostock Lane
It then follows the line of the North Union Railway...via Farrington
It then follows the line of the Liverpool, Ormskirk and Preston Railway...via Midge Hall
It then follows the line of the LYR North Mersey Branch Line...via Ford (Merseyside)
It then follows the line of the Liverpool, Crosby and Southport Railway...via Bootle Village
The journey ends at the closed station of Liverpool Exchange

The first closed station on this journey is Holcombe Brook
