A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
We next move to Wales for the next journey......

This is number 1940 in the series so far......

The journey starts at the closed station of Baldwins Halt
It follows the line of the Rhondda and Swansea Bay Railway
It then follows the line of the Llynvi and Ogmore Railway...via Cymmer Afan
It then follows the line of the GWR Tondu to Bridgend Line...via Aberkenfig
It then follows the line of the South Wales Railway...via Peterston
It then follows the line of the GWR Newport to Gloucester Line...via Llanwern...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Bristol and Gloucester Railway...via Haresfield
It then follows the line of the Bristol and North Somerset Railway...note we are using the main line and NOT the branch line
It then follows the line of the Wilts, Somerset and Weymouth Railway...via Witham
It then follows the line of the Bridport Railway...via Toller
The journey ends at the closed station of Bridport West Bay

The first closed station on this journey is Baldwins Halt
