We next move to England for the next journey.....

It then follows the line of the North Liverpool Extension Line...via Gateacre
It then follows the line of the Southport & Cheshire Lines Extension Railway...via Sefton and Maghull
It then follows the line of the Liverpool, Southport and Preston Junction Railway...via Altcar and Hillhouse
It then follows the line of the West Lancashire Railway...via Hesketh Park
It then follows the line of the Blackburn and Preston Railway...via Todd Lane Junction
It then follows the line of the Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington and Colne Extension Railway...via Rishton (1st station)
It then follows the line of the LYR Copy Pit Line...via Towneley
It then follows the line of the Manchester and Leeds Railway...via Rochdale (1st station)
It then follows the line of the Ashton, Stalybridge and Liverpool Junction Railway...via Park
It then follows the line of the LNWR Droylsden to Stockport Line...via Audenshaw LNWR (1888 to 1905)
It then follows the line of the LNWR & NSR Manchester to Stafford Line...via Poynton (Midway)
It then follows the line of the NSR Potteries Loop Line...via Kidsgrove Liverpool Road
It then follows the line of the NSR Crewe and Derby Line...via Etruria
It then follows the line of the NSR Stoke on Trent to Market Drayton Line...via Hartshill and Basford Halt
It then follows the line of the Nantwich and Market Drayton Railway...via Adderley
It then follows the line of the Crewe and Shrewsbury Railway...via Newcastle Crossing
It then follows the line of the Grand Junction Railway...via Coppenhall
It then follows the line of the Warrington and Newton Railway...via Winwick Quay
It then follows the line of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway...via Parkside (1st station)...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the North Union Railway...via Lowton
It then follows the line of the LNWR Wigan to Eccles Line...via Platt Bridge
It then follows the line of the LNWR Worsley to Bolton Line...via Walkden Low Level
The journey ends at the closed station of Bolton Great Moor Street

The first closed station on this journey is St Helens Central
