We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 179 in the series so far....

The journey starts at the closed station of Holcombe Brook
It follows the line of the LYR Bury to Holcombe Brook line
It then follows the line of the ELY Bury to Clifton Junction line
It then follows the line of the Manchester and Bolton Railway
It then follows the line of the Manchester and Leeds Railway
It then follows the line of the East Lancashire Railway
It then follows the line of the Liverpool and Bury Railway
It then follows the line of the Blackburn, Darwen and Bolton Railway
It then follows the line of the East Lancashire Line...using the Padiham loop line
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Bradford Extension Railway
It then follows the line of the GNR Keighley to Queensbury line
It then follows the line of Halifax and Ovenden Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the LYR Halifax to Sowerby Bridge line
It then follows the line of the Manchester and Leeds Railway
It then follows the line of the Stainland branch line
The journey ends at the closed station of Stainland and Holywell Green

The first closed station on this journey is Holcombe Brook
