Partington (1st station) (1874-1893)

Sorry, but that station like Cadishead (1st station) had the line terminated on both sides of the Manchester Ship Canal when it was completed in 1894. A new alignment was constructed to allow that line to pass over the canal at a height that would not affect navigation and it was on this new line that both the 2nd stations were built.
