The journey preamble states that after leaving the Brynmawr and Blaenvon Railway, we would next use the Merthyr, Tredegar and Abergavenny Railway in order then to access the Sirhowy Railway.

It appears that on joining the Merthyr, Tredegar and Abergavenny Railway, we went in totally the wrong direction, heading further and further away from the Sirhowy Railway. Therefore the following postings all need to be struck-through:-
