A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 758 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Glasson Dock
It follows the line of the LNWR Glasson Dock Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Lancaster and Preston Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Blackburn and Preston Railway
It then follows the line of the Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington and Colne Extension Railway...via the Padiham loop line
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Bradford Extension Railway...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Bradford Railway
It then follows the line of the GNR Leeds Central to Wakefield Line...note that at the end of this leg the route goes through the open station of Outwood
It then follows the line of the West Riding and Grimsby Railway
It then follows the line of the Great Northern and Great Eastern Joint Railway
It then follows the line of the GER March to Kings Lynn Line
It then follows the line of the Lynn and Dereham Railway
It then follows the line of the GER Wymondham to Wells-next-the-Sea Branch Line
It then follows the line of the West Norfolk Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the GER Hunstanton to Kings Lynn Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Lynn and Ely Railway
It then follows the line of the Ely and St Ives Railway
It then follows the line of the Wisbech, St Ives and Cambridge Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the GER Cambridge to Mildenhall Branch Line
The journey ends at the closed station of Mildenhall

The first closed station on this journey is Glasson Dock
