Sorry to say that you have headed away from the direction that we were at the junction at Pontardawe, that we needed to access the final line of this leg.

Sorry about that - it's what comes of not looking ahead to the next but one leg before starting on the next one - something I usually do but didn't this time

We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 541 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Mid Fearn Halt
It follows the line of the Inverness and Ross-shire Railway
It then follows the line of the Inverness and Nairn Railway
It then follows the line of the Inverness and Aberdeen Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Great North of Scotland Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the GNoS Denburn Valley Line
It then follows the line of the Aberdeen Railway
It then follows the line of the Arbroath and Forfar Railway
It then follows the line of the Scottish Midland Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Scottish Central Railway
It then follows the line of the Caledonian Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Lancaster and Carlisle Railway
It then follows the line of the Eden Valley Railway
It then follows the line of the South Durham and Lancashire Union Railway
It then follows the line of the Bishop Auckland to Durham Line
It then follows the line of the North Eastern Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Thirsk Railway...via Topcliffe
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Northallerton Railway
It then follows the line of the Nidd Valley Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Pateley Bridge

The first closed station on this journey is Mid Fearn Halt

I nearly put Kildrummie Platform down a couple of stops back but I couldn't work out if it was within the rules. There doesn't seem to be much information on it so was I right not to Paul?

It was an early closure as far back as 1858 on the Inverness and Nairn Railway, being situated between Gollanfield Junction and Nairn, so it was in order to have entered it as a posting submission.
