We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 496 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Fortrose
It follows the line of the Highland Railway Fortrose Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Inverness and Ross-shire Railway
It then follows the line of the Inverness and Nairn Railway
It then follows the line of the Inverness and Aberdeen Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Inverness and Perth Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Perth and Dunkeld Railway
It then follows the line of the Scottish Midland Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Forfar and Brechin Railway
It then follows the line of the Aberdeen Railway
It then follows the line of the GNoS Denburn Valley Line
It then follows the line of the Great North of Scotland Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Banff, Macduff and Turriff Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Banff, Macduff and Turriff Extension Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Macduff

The first closed station on this journey is Fortrose
