My father in law (now 96) used to travel from here via the M&SWJ to get to his unit when stationed on Salisbury Plain in 1942-3.

Like the proposed Fairfield Lane station, these station sites on the heritage Swindon and Cricklade Railway are brand new station sites which are totally unconnected to any previous and now closed station sites on the Midland and South Western Junction Railway.
