The journey starts at the closed journey of Shipley and Windhill
It follows of the line of the GNR Shipley and Windhill Line
It then follows the line of the LYR Bowling to Low Moor Line
It then follows the line of the LYR Pickle Bridge Line
It then follows the line of the LNWR Leeds to Manchester Line
It then follows the line of the Micklehurst Loop Line
It then follows the line of the Stalybridge Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Denton to Stockport Line
It then follows the line of the Stockport, Timperley and Altrincham Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Warrington and Altrincham Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Birkenhead Railway
It then follows the line of the Chester and Birkenhead Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Birkenhead Woodside
