Closed Lines after the last Storms

Hi,

maybe we could make uo together a list of all currently closed Lines because of the Winter Storms 2014.

England:

Dawalish Sea Wall currently closed after big damage, poss. open mid March

Fareham-Eastleigh via Botley closed , poss. open beg March

Tounton-Britol T.M flooded, Route via Castle Cary open

Didcot-Oxford partly flooded, few through FGW Services, XC Services suspended

London Paddington-Reading(GWML) flooded at Maidenhaed, many delays and partly suspensions

Staines-Windso closed and flooded, Paddington-Windsor still open, but maybe flooded by the next havy rainfalls.

Tonbridge-Hastings still closed

London-East Grinsted/Uckfield landslip at Oxted, Bus shuttle from one site of Oxted to the other

Wales:

Welshpool-Newtown flooded Trains are running with big delays.

Barmouth-Pwilhelli still closed.

Isle of Wight:

Ryde Pier Head-Shanklin closed because of a landslip at Sandown

Trains are running between Tonbridge and Wadhurst and between Battle and Hastings.

London-East Grinsted/Uckfield landslip at Oxted, Bus shuttle from one site of Oxted to the other

Nope. Woldingham Station is not accessible to buses, so there's road transport Redhill - Oxted & Three Bridges - East Grinstead, as well as ticket acceptance on various connecting service buses.

There are also Haywards Heath - Uckfield buses. Southeastern accept tickets between Tunbridge Wells & London Terminals, and Southern alternative routes are available to Edenbridge, Caterham & Lewes.

Possibly lack of a signal meaning a pilotman needed.

Or possibly lack of traffic - might as well use bus all the way as make people change an extra time.

The alternative travel arrangements Southern have made are very efficient, and add very little to the journey time.

Mind you travelling on the Tunbridge Wells line does remind me how lucky we are to have the Class 171s as they are remarkably comfortable.

Apparently Hereford to Newport is under water again today, significant sections of the Heart of Wales line are also still stuffed apparently.
