A mate of mine was travelling from Whalley to Blackburn this morning. On arriving at the station they came across a Ribble Valley Borough Council representative, saying that the trains were not running and that a replacement bus had been arranged (which failed to turn up on time meaning he had to drive in instead).
Does anyone know why an RVBC representative was at the station (usually unmanned)?
Why train services to Blackburn were not running from Clitheroe this morning?
Regards
