Both actually . . . its a modular aircraft concept where demountable passenger or cargo capsules are also designed to be moved by rail to and from the airport, so a single seat ride would be possible throughout between city centre terminals.

Thinks Thunderbird 2 its an old concept, I think the USAF had a demountable cargo pod in the 50/60's. Was more trouble than it was worth it turned out.

Beats my idea of clip on wings and runways made out of railway lines!
I really hope this takes off, Preston to Geneva train journeys would be decent.
