Class 97302, 303 and 304

What's going on with the three remaining 97s at the moment as one story seems they are stopping and another story is they are all remaining in service. I know 301 is pretty much a shell nowadays but the other 3 just wondered what is going on? 303 is swapping 302 at Nottingham Eastcroft tomorrow. Anyone know anything please?

As far as I know, they’re all serviceable. Until the Class 66/67 ETCS is commissioned, there’s no other locos that can do the Cambrian.

301 engine has gone into 303.

You expect that the system being fitted to the Class 66 and Class 67 will be compatible software with the Cambrian baseline?

I've been told 302 is going back to Coleham after an exam at Nottingham and 303 is going the other way for the same reason. 304 is having repairs done also at Nottingham. Answered my own question to be fair now.

Shame about 301 because I thought that was coming back however that isn't the case anymore unfortunately.

Fair. So long as the standards are robust shouldn't be an issue then.
