93005/006 have been in the same spot at Gresty for at least two weeks now , very little movement. 57307/308 sat in the same spot for months blocking any chance of seeing 93s parked behind.

Two STP light engine moves to Bicester today Monday 29/06/2026.
Both ROG as I understand it.

I am guessing to make a pair of 93s for movement of a 701 or two perhaps.
Or perhaps only one will be activated with the other as a backup etc.
No sign of an onward move but these 701 moves tend to go to Derby via London iirc.

One 0V71 from Derby RTC arrives 13:26.

Second 0V72 from Crewe Gresty Bridge arrrives 14:11

Interesting so looks like a pair from Crewe on 0V72 to Bicester with 0V71 (a single ?) from Derby being cancelled.

And two to Derby from Crewe.

Not spotted an onward working from Bicester - yet.
Nothing leaping out at me re Derby.

did they work https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:R50972/2026-07-01/detailed (6Q87 0821 Bicester Mod Gbrf to Wimbledon Park Depot Sdgs)?
Trailing load 1495T seems heavy for some EMUs... and it's shown as
"Departmental
Great Britain (Network Rail, TPS) "

Yes - here they are at Oxford:
(not my pic!)

It's just a timing load that 'works' for the train/route rather than an indication of how heavy the train will be.

So the return working 6Q57 to Derby has not made it beyond Clapham Junction yet !.

Apparently 701510 was going back to Derby BUT 93005 got its pantograph caught in line-side vegetation while leaving Wimbledon. So its either out of guage (tree stuck on roof or pantograph displaced) or they do not want to move it until everything secured.

EDIT
From the 701 thread :-
Branch wedged into the pantograph making it out of guage and would damage any OLE it encounters. Berthed in Clapham yard for branch removal.

This might be interesting on Monday 06/07/2026 for those wanting to see a 93 in London.
(from the non-Urgent TOPS thread)

+
Rail Ops Group, loco working from Leicester 0L48 Monday morning, but I don't know what it might be.
Its a ROG move from Yarmouth to Eastleigh via Cambridge, ECML, the North London Line & Reading.

It looks to be fed by a light loco STP 0L48 from Leicester (is a ROG TSC code).

Will it be a 93.......

There is a ROG light loco from Wimbledon to Bicester on Tuesday 07/07/2026.

I have not figured out any connected moves before/after but istr there was expected to be another delivery from Bicester to Wimbledon this coming week.
I wonder if this is connected with last weeks move of 701510 to Derby that only got as far as Clapham Yard ?.

None are at Leicester.
I presume there are no ROG locos at all at Leicester, let alone 93s ?.

It looks like that might have failed at Norwich on the way to Gt. Yarmouth (schedule after Trowse Jn. has been cancelled). Europhoenix 37423 has just arrived at Ely on 0Z23 en-route to Norwich - maybe its replacement/rescue loco?

Month long trial isn't it?

The 93s are a good match tbh for DRS, as the 88s arnt doing well now (the extra 1000 bhp in boost will be useful up Shap and Beattock), add in that the 88s are do off lease this year (or maybe early next year?) then i would bet that once the next month is over, the 93s will all be taken. Kingmoor is also where NTS are located, so might even see them on the flasks
