They are visible from the main line but the only number I could get by sight was 008 thanks to the trees.

Yes, the Thames does wiggle about inconsiderately. BUT the working today is the nearest they have got to me, certainly while I know they are coming !.

Almost everything west of Maidenhead bridge is south of the Thames (there's a very short section past Goring-on-Thames that crosses back briefly).

It gets very close to the south bank of the Thames just west of Reading.

Looks like all the 93s will have moved to Crewe tomorrow, with 0Q42 running tomorrow morning from Derby RTC to Crewe South Yard. (Presumably all 3 that are currently on the RTC).
