Electric Class 58 essentially. I actually did some reading into this the other week, but how much I can remember is up for debate

Would be worth renaming your thread as “Historic Class 88” to avoid confusion

It wouldn't have been AL7.
Class 87s were already built and would have been AL7 if that description type was still being used.
