Of the 21 Class 87's now working in Bulgaria, I recently noticed in a magazine article that 87017 is still carrying its "Iron Duke" nameplates

Does anyone know if the others there are still carrying their nameplates ?

and are they all running or are some in storage ?

I think someone in the know recently mentioned on here that the nameplates the 87s are currently carrying are all replicas.

Why would they be carrying replica nameplates of characters from English history if going to a foreign country ?

What happened to the originals?

Think they may have been all auctioned off after the 390s replaced them? Also it's not just the name plates, but some were repainted in e.g. BR blue with double arrows and Network South East liveries.

87004 still carries the Britannia nameplate and was in full BR blue livery as a 'pet' locomotive.
