Class 86s - Where was this?

[trainmania100]

Hi,
Please find attached below some old photos of class 86s taken quite a few years ago that I have come across on my phone - the only trouble is...I cannot remember where they were taken!
Windows Properties says back in 2011 in september, so if anyone has any recorded dates around the beginning of september 2011 for these locos that would be great. Could have been in dorset but seems unlikely. They are in rails and could have been some kind of auction

Its not Barrow Hill is it?

I'm guessing the location is MOD Long Marston.

It looks like Long Marston to me, except it must be a different time to when I visited as there was no Europhoenix stuff there at the time.

Ah yes I think it is long marston

Many thanks for the help

Just seen a picture of E3172 (86233) now residing on the other side of Europe in Ruse Northern Bulgaria, now a parts doner for the handful of 86s in operation there, still wearing its faded electric blue livery but now looking rather forlorn and exposed to the elements, very sad!
