Northbound near Chesterfield, at about 15:30 on 20th April. Was black with the word 'Floyd' in pink on the front. A bit of an undignified livery to be sure, but what was it doing?
Can't be sure of details but FLOYD is i think a hungarian company that are usuing redundant class 86 locos, i should imagine it was on its way to a ferry port for export!

Would speculate on its way to Hull, a lot of the export locos have gone that way. WNXX were reporting in the last few days that one was being readied for export, I think it included some testing and tyre turning at Crewe(?) possibly. I'm not at a PC to check though!

Further to my post, this is what was stated on WNXX on 16/04
