86401 (NSE), 86701 and 86702 are all at Willesden tonight. The 86/4 is there to shunt the cargo-d mark 3s. The 86/7s arrived there from Crewe today pending further test runs.

OK i thought it looked like it was in NSE livery, thanks for clearing that up. Would you know when the 86/7's are going back up i wouldn't mind seeing them.

They all belong to Electric Traction Limited. They have a small fleet of electric locos for spot hire etc.

213/401 were/are/might be part of the ACLG 'collection', who in turn "don't own any locos", with ETL being in charge of 86101/87002 and presumably 86213/401 aswell. Its all too confusing for me, they are all basically the same peeps. :?

86/7s currently out on a GBRf Staff Charter from Newcastle to London and return. The return leg left KX at 17:34.

87002 and 86101 were brought down on Thursday's 1A97 incase the 86/7s weren't available. They will return north early next week.

86401 is at WN to provide carriage heating to the recently arrived Cargo-D Mk3s which are being maintained at WN.

Suppose in light of recent class 86 events no-one can say there neglected as a class but I wonder how many more will come into the fore before the Green Godesses (FL cans) are finally withdrawn?
