They can't couple up to make a 10 car service so would have been useless at keeping people moving, and the risk of one taking up platform space with no one around who signs it was too great at the worst of the disruption. I believe two have been reinstated now anyway

The plan I believe is to have 8 diagrams in May (two of which include 10 car running) but of course things change

It looks somewhat planned. That diagram for today only has been timed as 810 since Wednesday, rest of this week it's timed as a 125mph diesel unit throughout. Hopefully means the fifth diagram isn't too far away on weekdays at least.

Yes many of them. Any service from Nottingham at :12 and any service from London :05 stops there, as do Sheffield services leaving St Pancras at :32 and Sheffield at :00 stop there generally.
