I boarded a Class 745 at Manningtree recently and noted that first class was at the country (Norwich) end for a change. I guess that somehow it must have ended up wrong way round at the Crown Point triangle? Is there still a plan to keep first class at the London end, or is that irrelevent these days?

They are meant to be turned if they are the wrong way round but if that's not possible without a late start it'll wait until that night.

They normally end up turning when units that needed to be in the depot end up at Victoria to make space.

Could also have been turned on the Stratford teardrop?

I've no idea on that one but my best guess would be it came out of Orient Way CS and went round High meads on its way to Norwich, maybe a fault meaning a cab was not usable?

No, very rare for 745s to go to or from Orient Way not via Temple Mills.

It will have turned at Crown Point. With the use of Victoria Sidings its far more common for the 745s to get turned that the 90 sets. It normally happens when a 745 is sent off to Crown Point, has work done, is then stored at Victoria to make space at Crown Point (going via the Wensum Curve) then enters service directly from Victoria completing the triangle. Or the whole dance but in reverse.
