Hi,

With the current Network Rail and GBRf 'Ultra 73's' being brought in, I got a looking at the current Class 73 fleet.

Nothing I can find matches up. Think it is because there is quite a bit of movement at the moment. Locos being bought out of preservation, renumbering etc etc.

The most upto date list I can find is

73005, 006

73101, 107, 109, 119, 128, 133, 136, 138, 139, 141

73201, 202, 205, 207, 208, 212, 213, 235

Ultra's

73951 (73104)
73952 (73211)

73961 - 73965

Does anyone know the 73's that will become 961-965?

73006 which GBRf now own, was that 73906?

Finally, have I missed anything out of that list?

Thanks

Bodie

73006, Which once was 73906 when it was Mersey Rail and latterly preserved on the Dean Forest and Crewe Heritage centre is now with GBRF in Eastleigh works along with now GBRF owned 73005. Both 73s were originally under the care of the Dean Forest but after a few years out of service on the Severn Valley, it was stored in Eastleigh in 2009 and has been there since.

Both JA 73s will be remaining original - these two wont I gather be converted, unlike the /1s & 2s.
