There's plenty of time before you make it to that stage anyway. A level projects won't even start untill the next academic year.

True but i did think about Pullman but its alos to hard to paint Merseyside Oranage is a good idea but its to modern, BR Blue is nice and simple!

meh if it was me I'd just say to heck with it I'll paint it how I like. I honestly wouldn't lose sleep over some of the members getting stressed over it. Where else in britain could a NER R1 in (sort of) original pea green be seen with a BR green class 40????

He's right it is your model afterall, and if its worth of an A* then you can shut them up at a later stage
