Class 71s and 74s

I am currently researching the Class 71s and 74s with a view to turning the results into a book.

I would be interested to hear from anyone who has worked on them, driven them, experiences of them, has photos of them (though not E5001 as preserved), manuals, drawings, or anything else.

So far I have found out quite a lot at the National Archives at Kew and had a good look round E5001 at Barrow Hill.
