Regarding comments above that "a couple" of 710/2s cover Liverpool Street diagrams, in my experience it is actually up to 4 units:
From personal observation on 20/04 it was 3 units, 21/03 it was 3 units and 03/03 it was 4 units. Perhaps one of these SHOULD be on Romford-Upminster ?

I have my recollections that 2 or 3 (so 4 plausible) x 710/2s on Liverpool Street services is very common. Usually not coupled to a 710/1 so running in pairs but singly sometimes.

I regularly see a 710/1 and 710/2 coupled together. Not seen 2x 710/2 yet though.

I like it when 2 trains are connected together sequentially for example, I was on 710121 and 710122 the other day :)

When the 710s were first introduced the /1s and /2s couldn't run together on West Anglia, so the 2x/2s would rarely be split and run around as an 8 all day. This restriction no longer exists and all combinations are regularly seen.

Ah. I might well be out of date on that then as I have not hung around at Bethnal Green since last Autumn iirc.

As a recap The only two 710s not in London are :-
710270 at Derby since 31/03/2023 (from Worksop, and previously in London !)
710374 at Derby (Midlands since manufacture) and due to arrive Ilford sometime mid May (2023).

The latest two arrivals in London are :-
710375 at Willesden since last week (arrived from Ilford where it had been for about three months).
710379 at Willesden and now in service on Euston to Watford-Junction on/before 25/04/2023.

For interest, the following were operating Euston-Watford DC mid-day today: 387222, 710259/262/266/269, 710377/378/379:
There was a 710 inside Willesden Depot on the track nearest the DC lines, can anyone confirm that this was 710375 - I believe it has occupied this track since arriving at Willesden, but am I correct ? Any comment appreciated.

If it was INSIDE the shed then :- if in the shorter shed (nearest to the DC lines) then it most likely is a 710/2 as that shed is not long enough for 5-car. The joined on longer shed nearer the AC is 5-car.

From my last visit there was a 710 where you are talking about BUT sticking out of that short shed. It was NOT 375 as that was within the longer shed.

I expect 375 will end up on one of the two the open sidings adjacent to the DC lines. That is where 379 seemed to live before use.

Your observation of the unit mix on the Euston to/from Watford Junction service is fitting. It amazes me that the mix is always the same. Despite the arrival of 710379 there is still only three of the four 710/3s working there. There is still one 378 working there and still four 710/2s. Irony is the 710/3s will eventually be working the NLL only.

Thanks for that - probably 710374 (fingers crossed).

UPDATE:-
Cancelled on 16/05/2023 "due to a request by the train operator (FL)".
I assume it will run another day rather than in some other path today ?.
Looks like 5Q19 in for next Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday etc - different weight and speed so doubtful.

Are there any vantage points where you can see some new units.
I recall a primary school being mentioned.
Walk down Litchurch Lane and you can see into the yard area, also down London Road out of the town you can also see.
Opposite the RTC is a good place to see them.

Beulliant thanks.
Just another place for you, City Gate, off London Road, a small industrial area where it runs alongside the test track, if you look through fence at the right angle you can see and get numbers of some units in some of the buildings.

Couple of things to bear in mind.

5Q68 is GB operated and is also running today to Willesden with a 720.

Tomorrow a GB operated schedule has gone in for Ilford, 5Q70 in the same path as 5Q68

Was going to ask; 5Q68 is only scheduled for Willesden, not Ilford, so is that likely to be 710374?
The 5Q70 looks more so.

Schedules - 5Q68 Willesden TMD (created 12/05)& 5Q70 Ilford (created 17/05) same path from Derby. So only one runs which is more likely, the must recent?

GB has been moving 720s and ROG 710s. 5Q68/70 are GB. We shall see Friday what on it.

Your right. My money is on the later created schedule 5Q70 and the fact it goes to Ilford which is where 710374 was expected to go as did 710379 and 710375 (I don't recall where other Willesden 710s went on arrival in London).

EDIT

The only loose ends are that I notice it is 60mph (seem to recall 710 moves are usually 40mph) also that you noticed its a GB schedule and its normally ROG job for a 710.

Something I find ironic is that
units (720s) allocated to Ilford arrive in London at Willesden and
units (710/2s & 710/3s) allocated to Willesden arrive in London at Ilford ?.

47727 arrived Derby Lit 0D20 - VSTP 0Z20 back to Leicester
Brainstorming :-

So 47727 arrives in Derby at 08:12, decided cannot drag a 710 (ROG only mate) and goes back home at 08:20 !.

Then I thinks better idea. Forgot to bring the fuel in the tanks for the trip down to the smoke so back home (Leicester) to collect the fuel. I notice 5Q70 is not yet cancelled but overdue by 2 1/2 hours !.

Question :-

I notice 5Q70 was activated at 04:04 this morning for departure at 08:49 so 4hr 45mins prior to departure. Does that mean it was deliberately (as manually) activated rather than merely an automatic activation that is normally done a round number of hours (2 iirc ?) before departure ?.

Manual call - assume you mean 5Q70? Probably GB not advised of alteration until loco arrived at Lit Lane.

Thanks @3973EXL.

Apologies - my poor brain really got the headcodes screwed up. By the looks of it I was correcting them while you were answering.

Yes 5Q70 not 0Z70 in both cases.

It is true that there is very little to say is was to be a 710 and a few things against that (Speed and not ROG).

EDIT
5Q70 now showing cancelled.

Aw, not fair. That's an inconvenient time so bound to be 710374 !.
I notice its 30mph - I think that is slower than normal ?. Also DerbyRTC - DerbyLL - IlfordEMUD - Willesden which seems worryingly familiar maybe.

I notice there is also an earlier set OR57/0D20 + 5Q19 + 0F47 (Leicester - DerbyLL - IlfordEMUD - Leicester) all merely Q so not deliberately entered just for the 22nd. If I am interpreting correctly and not too rashly.

UPDATE

8Q50 cancelled sometime before 21:00 (when I checked) but after 21/05/2023.

My current guess is this

And 0D20 has run Leicester to Derby to potentially supply traction for 5Q19 12:11 DerbyLL to Ilford but thats Q and not yet activated.

EDIT
In fact there has been a working to Old Dalby and one to Worksop already. So probably the loco arriving on 0D20 has done something already ?.
Knowing sods law perhaps even including 710374 - as in backwards step !.
