Had a visit to Shildon Locomotion and took the attached photograph of the 71 getting a cosmetic face lift. I see that sometime ago in an old posting, photographs were wanted, the attached my be of interest.

Great its going to be done, it looked a bit forlorn when i saw it at Shildon a few years ago. Is it going to be in the same livery?

Thanks for the update/piccie

Don't suppose you noticed where the 2Hap EMU was by any chance (4308)?

When I was there back in the summer, the HAP motor coach was inside getting lots of attention, and was gleaming in a new coat of NSE livery, but the trailer was outside looking somewhat tatty.

I thought the 2Hap was staying at Shildon...?

Nice piccie... that's the NRM AM6/Class 306 that was rotting away at the East Anglian Railway museum. I think there was a curator who tried to look after the interior, but it definately needs attention to bodywork and a lick of paint - and that horrible yellow panel to be abolished!
