Shock-absorber fail for sure!

How many wheels need to be in contact with the track? :))
Was a Co-Co, now just a Co;)

Good to see RAIL is keeping up to date with current events, now only three weeks behind the rest of us.

That's a bit unfair on RAIL. They only publish bi-weekly. Yes, this minor news item may have squeezed into the last issue before it was put to bed, but better to wait until you have more information on the incident than publish in haste.

To compare what is published in a bi-weekly magazine with what is discussed on a forum is disingenuous.

Well I would have thought they were talking about how the article was only published today, not the magazine ;)

Indeed, it's a bit pointless putting it on the RAIL website when the news is three weeks old, the magazine is a different story though.

The news on their website is only a preview of what is in the magazine. They've never, to my knowledge at least, professed that their site is somewhere to go to for news as it happens.

That article and the others linked from this page have been on their site since last weekend, as a preview to the issue that came out last Wednesday (26th). I only know this as I checked there then to see what would be in the upcoming issue. :)
