Doncaster will have on as a standby. Newcastle will have on as a standby.

They operate passenger trains between Cardiff - Paignton on a Monday - Friday & they operate between London Marylebone and Wrexham 7 days a week (WSMR is the company).
They also work to Aberdeen, Inverness and Fort William from Edinburgh on the Scotrail Sleeper. There is also 2 passenger turns in Scotland on the Fife Circle for them.
There will also be a standby at Edinburgh.

Whilst they are not close, I hope it helps!

Doncaster would probably be your closest, might get lucky and see it being a thunderbird!

I think 67s are quite rateable in this day and age, they are pretty reliable sound good and have a look that grows on you. Ive had a few recently Wrexham & shropshire and Scotrail services. Not much around these days in the way of loco hauled stuff so an old school basher like meself appreciates them compared to the majority of rubbish around now. i remember the 45s 47s transpennine days good times

Bristol temple meads, Dawlish Sea wall, Teignmouth for the Cardiff-Paigntons

Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Leamington, Banbury, Gobowen for the WSMR skips

If you can get to West Highland Line you can catch them on the Fort Bill-Euston Sleeper service.

Inverness/Edinburgh for the Inverness/Fort Bill Sleepers and the Fife circular workings

But none of these are local to Leeds
