A 67 can do 125mph when running light. It's actually got dispensation in the rule book, however the places where permissible line speed allows for that on the network are few and far between.

Not with full fuel tanks it cant as the axle loading is too high, half full tanks (or less) it is allowed.

Any foreign TOC/FOC have any suitable work for them?

The IC4 and the ICE-TD are the only two other diesels in Europe (ex UK) that can run at 200 km/h: simply, almost nowhere outside of the UK needs that speed from diesel stock.

RENFE Class 334 locos can also do 200km/h.

These are essentially Class 67 clones, built in the same factory.
I am doubtful if they have significant 200km/h work today.
The Murcia route is now fully electrified as part of the LAV system.
The Galicia routes are operated by class 730 bi-modes pending completion of the LAV.
The Barcelona-Montpellier service is now worked by TGV/AVE.
Not sure how the Almeria service works.

The ICE-TDs are heading for the sidings, being replaced by the IC3s which preceded them on the route.
There is no 200km/h running on Hamburg-Puttgarden-Copenhagen, their main service.

How about a rebuild as in the 57 conversion
Would the MTU unit fitted to HST fit, seems to me they would be OK for drags during works. Railtours etc

The replacement for the ICE-TDs will be a return to the old regime on Copenhagen-Hamburg, in the shape of the IC3 units, which used to operate the route.

No chance the Germans would ever let anything as unreliable as an IC4 off the train ferry at Puttgarden.

During the period that in the mid-2000s that the ICE-TDs were little used by DB, a delegation from a British TOC apparently went look at them but the interest went no further.

They would apparently just squeeze into ex-GWR loading gauge, due to having a smaller bodyshell than usual in Germany to allow for the tilt.
