It probably should still be on ATW Duties, but DB & EWS has never seemed to really care about having the matching locos on the job/franchise/service it's supposed to be in. For example, the RHTT has seen the Royal & Silver 67s on, First ScotRail's Caledonian Sleeper had EWS 90s while the Sleeper 90s worked Car Traffic or for ONE Anglia etc. I know it's effectively treated as a common pool of locos, but it's a shame they've never really been effective at sticking to it.

I'm just surprised the Caley Sleeper 67s haven't ventured on the ATW diagrams yet, the red & ex Chiltern 67s already have!

Think only 67004 is the only DB loco left in Caley Sleeper colours but needs new wheels. 67010 in DB red

Wonder if 67004 will get new wheels and be sent back north if 67s end up tempory back on sleepers. 67028 did Aberdeen portion last night

67002 was extremely grubby as well, so much so that I could barely tell it was supposed to be blue. I'd be tempted to try and repaint some of the no-longer-used liveried units into DBC, it might help create more of a business case for the locos to have them looking sharp.

I just saw a pair of class 67s on what appeared to be a RHTT on the Leicester freight path. I can understand that DBC are eager to get these locos earning revenue, but the rear loco was 67002 - shouldn't it still be on ATW duties?

Working is here: http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/H37693/2016/10/28/advanced

There are three 67s in "ATW livery" (I hate to call it that it's not really they just painted them a vague shade of blue). ATW only need two locomotives a day, what's better, have the "spare" one sat round doing nothing, or have it earning money.

ATW regularly use DBS ones also. For example, 67022 has been working the Holyhead to Cardiff WAG for over a week now.

True, but what about a spare loco at the Cardiff end? And is 003 still off passenger duties after it's ETS threw several hissy fits (and fuses)? The ATW Fleet has tended to only have 2 blue and one in any livery from DBC as a result.

Think 003 is now off the naughty step as it is back on the North Wales turn.
