and I will, they didnt paint a 66, because a 66 cant be used on the company train or passenger workings, im guessing DB want this as their "show off" loco, or maybe Mr Heller just rates 67`s over 66`s![]()
This maybe the case, however I fail to see what relevance this has to my light hearted (ie humourous & not meant to be taken seriously) post on how it would be more appropriate to put a maple leaf on a Canadian built loco.
As for 66s, yes they may be predominantly a freight loco but they can and do get used on passenger workings as and when required, including charters, rescuing failures and even standing in for a 67 on the Taunton - Cardiff service last year.
