well, a lot of sulzers are okay - I've cabbed D7629 (class 25) many times and it's great!
But most dont compare to EE beasts. For example, 47 vs 37. Infact, theres no need to put 'vs' as theres no competion! 37s!

Why has this turned into a 'my loco is better than yours' fight? 
I don't really like 66s as they replaced what I grew up with, 20s, 37s, 47s, 56s, 58s and 60s. But I don't mind them. I won't go out of my way to photograph one, but I won't mind taking pictures, as they are now a vital part of the british freight scene.

I've found something I like about 66's..................they are not 67's!

I would take either(47 or 37), 47's fav though as they are so much nicer to drive & no huge bonnet to peer over. Although plenty of duck tape needed to seal the drafts!:grin:

Because during a P-Way possesion, 1 was parked from 21.00-09.32 outside my house, yinging for 12hours and 32 mins!

I've cabbed 7671 many many many a time at the MRB and I've cabbed 25035 at the GC on a BEEREX. I don't go all braggy about it though lol cos I very often cab all classes of traction.
Sulzers are okay apart from the 44s, 45s and 46s, they're just boring.
English Electric are pure porn, but I don't like 20s or 55s.
Diesel Hydraulic are fine by me.
General Motors are growing on me and I've always liked the 67s.
66s are okay. They're not the best and they're not the worst.
You just bragged there. So you now can't say that again.

Well mine Doesnt count but been in the cab of a Freightliner 86 at tamworth for a while due to an extensive wait at the peg.

47's rock, if you dont get the spoon action then it's your loss! Too many people are still on the anti spoon club, not realising what a terrific loco they are dismissing! But then again there's people on here that like 66's so I guess the world is mad. So people can like a loco for how it looks, what it sounds like & who uses them. Try it in the cab & maybe you will see that sheds are called sheds for a good reason, 37's whilst hellfire are bloody awkward to drive, 67's are crap, 20's are just pure fun, jocko's are so sweet to drive, 31's make your blood boil whilst awaiting any power at all from them, 25's are a lovely loco to drive, 40's are nice but suffer excessive bonnet action, peaks were actually a nice medium loco, 56's were the best freight loco ever built, even the romanion ones, 58's were always pretty crap, 60's do exactly what it says on the box no matter how much EWS trash them! HST's send chills down your spine & are nice but rather funny to drive due to a very unnatural seating position.55's are overated, westerns were ugly but damn good.
Hymeks & warships I have no idea about as before My time, 33's & 50's I have never driven but seem pretty good.EMU's are souless device's & early AC loco's are wierd but some are damn good to drive.
Oh & as for cabbing stuff, well how would you tell if a loco was hellfire when you are sat in the dummy seat???? I thought 31's were beasty after cabbing my first one at Birmingham in 1978 the first year I was in this country, even my mum has cabbed an 86 on a euston service, she thought it was pleasant!

I'm not anti 47s, in hindsight I should have accepted the ride, same with getting a look round Selhurst Depot

*I have got used to them, these operate most of the freight past me [alongside 92s]

Sorry I honestly do have a problem with all thing's EWS (Enormous, Waste of, space)
