Usual is maximum of 5

HOWEVER some routes have 10 permitted and run as an 0x-- headcode

That isnt in multiple, that is one (or two) locos pulling all the others.

Multiple means they are all are under power being controlled by a driver in the leading loco!

Depends, is the question is how many can run in convoy or how many can run providing power together?
