Hi,

Could any kind soul point me to a site for the above mentioned traction? It's in the NWM Salford bridge to Ludgate route, but I've failed to find a site with this specific engine.

Cheers

James

Wow! Such a swift response - many thanks - I can see the ones for BVE4 and open BVE - so bless you!

--- old post above --- --- new post below ---

Actually as I'm looking for a BVE4 version, I think this site just has the add-on cab view etc. Unless I have misunderstood. Is it a case of modifying one of the other cl57 files like the cl57302 etc.? Please excuse a newbie's ignorance!!

Cheers

Um, no. You do need to download the sounds separately, but they are available on the same page as the rest of the train: http://sites.google.com/a/bve4trains.com/bve-4-trains/Home/downloads-bve4

I'm sorry but I don't think this is the case - even having renamed files - and I'm never sure as to whether to rename the folder in the route file or the traction file, there are too many errors speaking of missing components and a blank screen awaits me after loading.

Ah, I see. Sorry, Jordy.

Yes, a number of files are missing. I think most issues can be fixed by copying over the subfolder 'bve4' from the openBVE version of this train; you may also need some files from the BVE 4 57/3 at BVE Routes&Trains (I don't have the opportunity right now to work it out in detail). I may be able to see later what exactly needs to be done, but really, this should be fixed by the developer.

Thanks - that works partly as you suggest, but some sounds are not coming up and a couple of panels are missing - it's a bit of a potch as I'm concerned that picking and mixing I'm going to end up with a very strange engine!

The developer has uploaded a corrected version of this train.

Ah - many thanks for that - I am basically up and running, though might have to do a rebuild of the directory as a couple of the dials are not quite right and it reports a missing radio panel. But it is pretty much there - and a delight to drive.

Cheers

The developer has uploaded a corrected version of this train.

Sorry about it being wrong, two many beer's when I uploaded it!

Don't forget there's also external view Class 67 (in a few different configs)

A MTU HST with a Cross Country (Arriva) external.

A as above with only 1 power car working but a failed National Express one on the back.

How fitting!

New this week are a few 150 externals for NWM, these have detailed but not as I would like them to be bogies, which knocks the frame rates down a bit!

Why am I doing something I don't know I am doing?

Mind you what I don't know I am doing might have a external by now but without a set of external detail view shots it can't happen.....

Have a look at Martyn Read's site http://ukrailwaypics.fotopic.net/ and look at the 150 detail shots and I think these will give you a better idea of what I need Jamaal for the train I know nothing about:lol:
