Class 56s for Freightliner?

Heard a rumour that Freightliner want to take on a number of cl56s from UK Rail Leasing that are being overhauled at Leicester depot.
56081 has moved from here to Brush at Loughborough,presumably for testing.

I've lost the picture now but there is a picture of one of Edward Stevenson / UKRail Leasings repainted into BR Railfreight Grey 56s being towed by a Freightliner Class 70 - Can't remember where it was being dragged to though, but I have heard similar.

It was 56081 - moved by a FL 70 to Loughborough Brush.

It's more than just a rumour, certainly as far as 56081 is concerned.

Shame, then, that it'll probably get turned out in that daft "Powerhaul" livery: A 56 might have looked just about respectable in the older version of Freightliner yellow and green.

Aye, we'll have to wait and see after a few months! Apparently FL Heavy Haul are keen to free up a 66.

They will be staying in the grey livery, Freightliner won't spend the money repainting them.
