Can anyone shed any light on the class 56 seemingly dumped at Blethcley depot? It might be 56301 and has been there at least a month. What is the story? I assume it has failed and is not fit to travel.

It is 56301 but it has now moved by road to Tyseley. It has wheelset problem

I know this thread has been snoozing peacefully for quite some time, but the news is that 56301 is currently undergoing a bogie exchange at UKRL Leicester, it seems, courtesy of Class 56 Group website, that the bogies have come from 56007 at Longport via Doncaster Roberts Road
