class 56 at redhill

Hi guys saw 56312 Artemis go through the runner at redhill towards croydon with a fully loaded container train long as well.

Havent seen a 56 on the southern for years what freight service was it on

whats 312 doing at the weekend, didnt know Colas even had a saturday diagram but ive been told it has, hence 31190 vice 56 for the tour on sat

311 needs a PU swap
312 is working a colas diagram
303 is commited to something else/on hire to someone else

When i lived back home in sunderland all i saw was class 56 locos on coal trains quality it was a shame when they were withdrawn.

Over me railway career at reading used to see 56s on the stone trains down the b&h line to merehead and whatley

Yep its booked time through Redhill is 13:12 normally Mondays and Thursday only.

Heard a rumour that colas wil be putting there 66s on this route and 47s will stay on dagenham work.
